We left Wisconsin this morning. We have a few more images to share, and have them here behind the fold. Just call them uniquely Wisconsin.

The joy of finding good coffee in New Glarus! The Fat Cat Cafe opened during the summer in an old building on the train tracks. It’s a quick walk from the hotel. There are lots of nooks and crannies for kids to crawl in.

Ed is in front – tied with Dad! And the tie breaker will be the game tonight! If Tennessee wins then it will be Ed in front. If Denver wins, then it will go to Dad. Go me!

We had an excellent dinner at the New Glarus Hotel last night, with Mary, Larry and Batie. We met Hans, the owner of the Hotel, and the chef Roland came out to see us after we had finished. Food was good; presentation very good. Coffee was lacking a bit.
The day had been a good one, with a GREAT adventure in Madison. We met an interesting person and toured an historically interesting monument. More details on this later in the week, when I post pictures.

We’re here in New Glarus! Dinner last night with Mary, Larry, Batie and Winna. Fantastic cheese for appetizers, and Larry cooked a great kalberwurst.
Photos are below the fold.

The airplane trip was a great adventure! Dan-dan and Camillla both had window seats and were able to watch everything. We landed in Chicago, had a fight with Budget over rental cars, then took their minivan off to Cally’s. Cally entertained the older kids while Ed worked and Gabi took care of Aaron. Pizza for everyone.
This morning, we are off to New Glarus.
Off to the Midwest for a whirlwind trip starting Friday. Chicago, Wisconsin, then Chicago again, then off to Indiana. It will be lots of fun. Keep checking – I’ll add photos from the road.
I haven’t down-graded yet, but only because I would have to buy new software to do it.
Yes! Seattle won – so I am indeed the winner! Such skill! Such strength! Such insight in the very nature of human existence! Go me!
