Football Update

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

After Indianapolis’ massive win over Baltimore tonight, things are interesting. Everything hinges on the New Orleans vs. Atlanta game Monday night. If New Orleans (the favorite) wins, then Mom and I win the pool. If Atlanta wins, then Andy wins the pool.

In sum total, I’m leading with three and a half wins in the pool; Dad and Andy each have three wins. I have the highest total score as well, which puts me in line for choosing Super Bowl teams first.

Next year, Gabi will be joining the pool; which will make watching more interesting here. Have to get the Sunday Ticket from DirecTV too – we miss most of the Colts games here on the West Coast.

Christmas Starts

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

OK – everyone is healthy enough now – we can start Christmas!

Last night, the Big Ones and Dad went to get the Christmas Tree. Mom and Baby Aaron were in Los Angeles for a Girls’ Party. That means we can get the tree decorated today.

The first Christmas presents were purchased yesterday, so we’re starting to make inroads there. Our biggest problem will be making up time on the Christmas cards.

Change of Plans

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

We’ve altered our plans on Budapest 2008. Rather than renting out our house, we’ll simply close it up while we’re gone. This will add to the cost of the adventure, but will save us enormous headaches with moving/packing and such.
