May Day is Labor Day for the world outside of the United State (which rejected the holiday as being too socialist and instead has its own Labor Day at the end of the summer). All of Europe shuts down. In Budapest, there was a huge festival in the City Park. Food, rides, warm weather and beer. Oh, and castles! What more can you ask?
