Videogame Industry Update

Most people who read this blog know that I work in the videogame business. I am truly amazed at some of the numbers coming from it. Blizzard’s World of Warcraft mints between $600 million and $1 billion a year. The just-released Grand Theft Auto 4 cost more than $100 million to produce.

Personally, I’m still playing Civilization 4 from 2005. And I love reading blogs from political actors and economists who grew up playing Civ just like I did. You can see it embedded in a lot of their prose.
