so glad for the good news about your Mom. It’s just about the one year anniversary of my Mom’s Doris Steussy(age 91) death. She voted for Obama and died within four days! Every day with her was precious.
I met tonight with the grandaughter of Henry Steussy’s second wife Helen. We had not seen one another snce my grandfather’s funeral 40 years ago! Remarkably, she has lived in the same community as me for the last 22 years-unknown to each of us. We shared photos of the farm, New Glarus, and stories about getting Henry to yodel!
Daughter Brook Steussy-Edfeldt (28) and I go the Orff Conference in Milwaukee in early November and then to our rendez-vous with Mary Ellen. I’ll let you know how it goes.
