Camilla’s best friend is Tanya, the daughter of an Indian couple living in Murrieta, Shrini and Shweta. Shweta got in touch with us Saturday for a surprise birthday party for Shrini on Sunday (opening day of football, eh! – it’s OK, we have Tivo). It was a great time at the Bally Winery in Temecula, and we have a few photos.

Andrew and Anikó were married yesterday at a civil ceremony at their house in Long Beach. There were 12 guests, a Justice of the Peace (with assistant) and the bride and groom.

Our trip to Disneyland last week was a roaring success (how could it not be?). The highlight in many ways was riding the roller coasters. Camilla just barely qualified to ride (she had to stand on tippy-toes to be the right height). Igor shot a video of the entire last trip we did, just before we stopped for dinner. First, three photos so that you know where everyone is.

No one is trying to hold me up – you’re supposed to raise your hands when riding a roller coaster, right? Well, there are too many obstructions on this one to lift them all the way. Just saying – I prefer to keep my hands.
Daniel Solon Steussy on his sixth birthday
On Saturday, we had a few guests come over (20 kids and assorted parents and grandparents) for Dan-dan’s sixth birthday.

We also had the Jolly Jumper set up in the backyard. Gabi’s roses were in bloom around the gazebo.

Finally, we have a short video of the cake with candles. Things were a bit hectic at the time. I’m sure you understand.
Tunde and Jack came for a brief afternoon visit today. We did get to show them a bit of our lives here and we were certainly very happy to have them here. Gabi served lecso for lunch (my favorite Hungarian food!). They got to see the wineries, the town and the kids. A lot for a few hours.
It was a birthday party for a 4 year old (Vicky – Reka’s daughter). But the stunning thing was the flower garden in their back yard. It was the most colorful setting I’d seen in years.
Sunday was Andrea’s 40th birthday. The Ihasz’s invited us to lunch at a very nice place.

Afterwards, we retired to a park overlooking the castle for the kids to play in.
Welcome to the world, Cyrus Winston Jenei! Born February 21 (but not announced until last week). Mom and baby are fine. One should note that Cyrus has some dedicated parents, who have spent years in various forms of fertility treatments to finally be able to conceive and bring their babies to term. We’re expecting more from them sometime soon …
With Cyrus, however, we have now exhausted our current supply of pregnant women. Again, welcome to Aaron, Noah, Conner, Carina, Vazul and Cyrus. It is quite a crowd over the past six months.
